There are days I want to shout:
“Move on already! Get up and do something great with your life!”
(Lol… I know. It’s a lot. But it’s honest.)
That’s how I’ve felt many times, especially when I see people stuck in self-pity mode for a long time.
But here’s the truth I’ve had to sit with:
Not everyone is running with the same level of emotional or mental capacity.
I’ve had to talk to myself, slow down my judgments, and extend grace. Because capacity is built, not born.
It’s developed intentionally, with effort and time.
What Is Capacity?
Capacity is your inner strength to handle more, to lead, create, rise, and carry vision without breaking.
And if you’re going to achieve the dreams God placed in your heart, you’re going to need to build it.
It’s not just about working harder. It’s about:
- Strengthening your mindset
- Stretching your discipline
- Healing your emotions
- Expanding your vision
- Growing in resilience
Why Capacity Matters
Dreams are weighty.
Purpose is demanding.
Destiny requires stretch.
If you don’t build capacity, you’ll either quit prematurely or resent the very thing you once prayed for.
But when you grow in capacity, you move from frustration to fulfillment. From being stuck to soaring.
So today, I challenge you to ask:
“Where do I need to grow so I can carry what I’ve been called to?”
It could be emotionally. Spiritually. Mentally. Even physically.
One small decision a day is all it takes.
You don’t need to become a superhero overnight.
Just start.
Keep showing up, and it will all add up at the end.
