I watch in sadness and pity at the way some people, men and women alike, fight tooth and nail to shut down the voices of women and the few men who are fighting for gender equality. I watch in pity because some of this people have daughters, and they have refused to see into the future of their children. They are only concerned about their present, about their own selfish gratification, they only care about the dominion and power they wield over their wives, brother’s wife, and any woman they come in contact with. This people have refused to see that some of the fight we are fighting now, would be well enjoyed by “your daughters and our daughters”.
I am sorry to burst your bubble, the fight would continue and we would not stop talking until gender equality comes to stay, until their are grave consequences for women abuse of any kind.
